Employee of the Month: Clayton Morgan
This month we're pleased to feature Clayton Morgan as our Employee of the Month. Clayton was managing a hog farm when he first heard about EA, and he knew he was getting ready to make a change and needed a letter of recommendation. He called a former colleague and learned about an open Housing Coordinator position. This position sounded like a good fit and the rest is history!
What does your best day on the job look like?
Anytime I am able to assist with any placement of kids, from babies to young adults.
What do you wish more people knew about working in your field?
I wish people would understand that teenagers are ultimately still kids, in need of a loving home.
How do you practice self care?
Spending time with my Spawn and wife normally does the trick. Other than that, my passion is distance running. No better way to clear a mind than on a long run. I also love fishing, camping, and a solid film.
What's a hidden talent you have, or something about you that would surprise most people?
I am a Volunteer Fire Fighter for my Community. Also, while in college, I interned for an Assemblyman.
