Employee of the Month: Kylie Martinez
As March is National Social Work Month, we're excited to feature one of our amazing social workers, Kylie Martinez, as our Employee of the Month! With a strong work ethic and demonstrated passion for helping others, Kylie has been an incredible asset to the EA Family Services team. Read on to learn more about how she practices self care, and what motivated her to work with EA.
What originally made you want to work with EA Family Services?
I wanted to work with a company who made the children in care feel like they belonged. I also liked that EA is a very family oriented organization, both for the employees and the families we work with.
What does your best day on the job look like?
The best day is when I can make a child feel comfortable in their placement, and see a smile on their face.
How do you practice self care?
I surround myself with family and friends. My husband and I also like to take our children on trips, and go camping in our travel trailer.
