Employee of the Month: Lindsay Gross
This April, we're pleased to feature our Case Manager, Lindsay Gross as our Employee of the Month! After deciding she wanted to work with a foster family agency, Lindsay was excited upon learning about EA Family Services.

What does your best day on the job look like?
Whenever I get to experience any kind of breakthrough with clients that leads to building a stronger relationship between a client and myself. Getting to the point where they trust me enough to tell me about their best and worst days is where most of the growth starts to take place.
What do you wish people knew about working in your field?
We're all humans that need love and compassion. There are a lot of stereotypes out there about foster youth and mental health that are simply inaccurate, and end up hurting them when they're not given a chance based on these stigmas.
How do you practice self-care?
I always make sure to find time to do what I really enjoy. Most of the time that just looks like hanging out with family and friends, and in the summer it's going outdoors. Finding joy in the everyday moments really helps me to enjoy every aspect of life.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Oh gosh... I bake? That's kind of a talent. Really anything that requires decorating is my favorite. It combines my favorite thing in life: sugar, color, and sprinkles!
