Employee of the Month: Dolores Martinez
What originally made you want to work with EA? 
I have always had a passion for working with kids, especially the kids in the foster system. I have worked with this population since 1983 and when an opening came up here at the Losh Home in 2007, I applied and I've been here since.
Describe what your best day on the job looks like:
When I am able to be the great listener and problem-solver for the kids we work with, that's what my best day on the job looks like.
What do you wish people knew about working in your field?
I wish that people knew just how broken these kids are and how they are just looking for love and affection. These kids are looking for leadership and role models and want to be accepted. These kids warm your heart on a daily basis too.
How do you practice self care?
I enjoy getting a great manicure and pedicure. I also enjoy some "me time" where I do whatever comes to mind at the moment...
