Home visits are a key screening service conducted by a qualified social worker or agency representative. This process is designed to thoughtfully assess the surrogate’s living environment, ensuring it is safe, clean, and stable for a successful pregnancy, while also confirming the presence of a strong and supportive family network.
How does it work?
Our experienced social workers conduct in-person home visits and provide detailed documentation, including photographs, to support a thorough and reliable evaluation for surrogacy professionals and agencies.
Our surrogacy home visit services are designed with your needs in mind. Each visit includes meeting with the surrogate and family members, a comprehensive walkthrough of the home and surrounding property to confirm basic safety standards, and an assessment of the neighborhood to ensure it offers a safe and supportive environment.
Cost & availability
EA currently has a contract with a Southern California surrogacy company to conduct home visits across the state, as well as occasionally out of state.
The fee for this service is $1,000 per home visit, in addition to reimbursement for travel costs.
