Employee of the Month: Asifa Ali
What originally made you want to work with EA? 
I had just started college and was looking for a part-time job when I was introduced to EA. I started off as a transporter/part-time office assistant. I didn't know much about the foster care system at that time. The more I learned about what EA did, the more I loved being part of such an amazing team! That is when I decided to go full-time and have been here ever since!
Describe what your best day on the job looks like:
The best day on the job for me is when I am able to assist our social workers and clients when they are in a bind. Some days can get tough and I am happy to help!
What do you wish people knew about working in your field?
Working in the foster care system can be overwhelming at times but we need to remember that we are making a difference in these children's lives!
How do you practice self care?
I love spending time with my little girl! I also love to cook and try new recipes.
What's a hidden talent you have, or something about yourself that would surprise most people?
I like doing hair and makeup. I also do henna!
