Hear from RH, one of our amazing foster parents on how she decided it was the right time, her favorite moment so far, and her advice for anyone interested in pursuing a similar path.  What motivated you to open your home and heart to children in need?  I really just wanted to be a safe place for a child. My husband and I were in that same mindset; we wanted to provide a safe and loving home for a child, even if it were temporary. 

This month our selection for Leadership Spotlight is one of our wonderful Social Worker Supervisors, Tiffany McGee! Read on to learn more about how she came to work with EA Family Services, her advice to those interested in a similar career path, and more! What initially brought you to EA?

With temperatures hitting three-digits across the country, it’s no surprise that many families are packing up the kids and heading off to the nearest body of water. While we’re big fans of using water activities to help beat the heat, it’s important to remember that even a few inches of water can be hazardous to kids. Drowning is the second-leading cause of unintentional death among kids ages 1-14, but by taking some basic precautions, you can help keep the kiddos safe!

Our featured choice for July's Employee of the Month is Dylan Morgan, our Transitional Housing Coordinator! After working for nearly seven years in the financial industry, Dylan was interested in a career with more meaning. Ultimately, it was his brother Clayton that sparked his interest in working with EA Family Services.
